Merlin aka Emrys
Merlin is a young man with a big secret. He is a warlock, and a dragon lord to boot, the kicker is that he has to keep it secret. Gaius, his guardian, is the only one wiser to the fact, at least the only one he sees on a regular basis. Merlin moved away from his home and mother, Hunith, in order to study under Gaius a friend of his father and former magic user. The city of Camelot is probably the most dangerous place to be, but he gets by working as Prince Arthur's man servant, much to his chagrin. He loves to bicker with Arthur, but he's known for a long time that Arthur is destined to become a great king, with Merlin by his side, together they will restore magic to Camelot. It's a future that is very far off as far as Merlin is concerned, but he is content saving Arthur's life by using his magic in secret and not getting any credit for his heroics.
